STUDIO GUIDELINES

The safety, comfort, and overall experience for our members is our top priority. To ensure a supportive and inclusive environment, we’ve outlined a few guidelines to help everyone make the most of their time in the studio.

1 / All are welcome here

At SCLPT, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating a space where everyone feels valued and respected. No matter your age, background, body type, fitness level, or experience, you belong here. Our studio is a judgment-free zone where inclusivity and kindness are non-negotiable. Together, we build strength, connection, and community.

We honor our bodies and where we are at in each moment. It may change from day to day, but we are always getting stronger.

2 / Health conditions

If you have any pre-existing health conditions that could affect your ability to exercise, please consult with your doctor beforehand.

Our heated mat classes used infrared technology. They should not be taken by anyone expecting, anyone with heart or lung conditions, those with Diabetes, those with a pacemaker, individuals taking medications that affect body temperature, people with low blood pressure, and anyone who is particularly susceptible to overheating or dehydration.

If you have any injuries, please share them with your instructor at the beginning of each class so that we can accommodate any modifications for you if needed.

3 / Pregnancy

Our heated mat classes should not be taken by anyone who is pregnant.

If you are in your first or second trimester, we welcome you to join our beginner-level reformer classes. In your third trimester, we recommend attending our pre/postnatal classes, reaching out to us about private sessions, or taking a break until you’ve been cleared for exercise post-birth. Your safety and comfort are our priority, and we’re here to support you every step of the way!

Always consult with your physician before attending your first class. Please notify your instructor that you are expecting so that we can accommodate any modifications.

4 / Attending a class

We ask that every member first attend one of our beginner-level classes before taking an advanced level class.

Cell phones and headphones: We ask that you refrain from using your cell phone during class time. Take that time to disconnect from the outside world, and connect within yourself. We also ask you do not wear any headphones during class so you can optimally hear our instructors.

Filming in class: If you wish to film yourself during class, please reach out to management and we will work with you to set up in a way that does not distract other members within the class.

Athletic clothing: We ask that all members wear athletic clothing to class. This allows for unrestricted movement and helps our instructors provide proper alignment cues. Grip socks are highly recommended for hygiene and stability, especially for our reformer classes. We will have them available for purchase in our lobby.
